Investigate the following issues:
Project Steps:
1. Divide the above issues among your group.
2. Research the Internet and find at least two sources for each issue. Use the searching techniques discussed in class to find up-to-date Web sites from reputable sources.
3. Store your bookmarks in the class delicious account.
4. Print out at least 10 pages from your sources. Read carefully the pages you print. Underline and take margin notes.
5. Meet with your group and share the information that you found.
6. Prepare an outline on paper so that you can present an oral report on your findings (5 minutes).
7. Meet with your group and prepare one PowerPoint slide show that covers all the issues of your group.
8. Choose one group member to prepare an introduction and one to prepare a conclusion to your oral report.
9. Save your presentation to a key drive or save it on Webdisk.
10. Practice your presentation with your group members, using the slide show you prepared.
11. Your teacher will give suggestions on improving your presentations. He will also help you improve/correct the ideas and language in your PowerPoint.
12. Revise your PowerPoint and refine your oral presentation.
13. Give your oral presentation. With a six-member group, your presentation will be about 40 minutes long.
14. After your teacher helps you make final edits to your PowerPoint, upload it to Slideshare.net. Your teacher will also add a link to your slide presentation to the class Wiki page.
